Artist Seeking Representation Submission Guidelines (Edited February 23rd, 2026)
Suggested Submission
The ideal format:
Short, polite message, email: travis@travisfoster.com
A couple of images in the email body (three images are usually enough)
Provide a link to your website/online portfolio (It’s helpful if your website includes links to your social media links: Instagram, LinkedIn, Behance, etc.)
Concise and easy for the agent to quickly scan through
Universal best practices:
Web-optimized images — Avoid 300dpi files (massive sizes), but not pixelated either. Suggested size 200dpi, 1700 pixels in width
Brief introduction — a few sentences, not a life story. Shows you can communicate
Professional tone — friendly, not groveling, and also not arrogant
Check spelling — keep it professional, email is our lifeblood in communication
Client list okay — but no resume or CV needed (your work speaks for itself)
Easy access to more work — include website and social media links
No zip files or Google Drive downloads — this creates barriers, and won’t be opened
